Heidi Brown is a former two-time local titleholder and state finalist in the Miss America Organization with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Business Administration from Western Illinois University. She has nearly twenty years of experience in the insurance industry as an agent and agency owner. Following the unexpected loss of her husband, Heidi made a career change and works in the office at a well-known lawn and garden manufacturing plant. She holds a leadership role on the Executive Board for her employer’s Christian Fellowship Employee Resource Group called G5 which is based on the book of Galatians Chapter 5. Heidi’s role with G5 includes regularly leading group devotionals and book studies, as well as promoting remote participation at other company locations. After losing her husband in a tragic work accident, she is now sharing her story of unshakable faith and how God has worked through tragedy and loss. Her memoir, For HIS Glory: Turning Pain into Kingdom Purpose, will be published in 2026.
